  1. Customer will pay a security deposit of Rs 15,000/- . The security deposit is refundable/adjustable as per the existing process.
  2. The customer is required to make the down payment in cash/credit card at the time of purchase.
  3. The customer will incur the installment charges at the point of handset acquisition.
  4. Monthly handset installments will be reflected in the customer's postpaid bill.
  5. Customer is required to pay the bill on time , in order to avoid late payment fee.
  6. In the event of breaching the credit limit and subsequent outgoing blocking, Jazz reserves the right to block the IMEI. Restoration of IMEI will be facilitated upon payme the outstanding postpaid bill.
  7. Handset insurance amount is included in the upfront cost of handset.
  8. Customers need to visit authorized service centers of iPhone for all warranty claims.
  9. During the term of financing, the device is stolen, lost, or damaged beyond repair, the customer will still be liable to pay the remaining installments.
  10. In no event , the customer can return the device once sold.
  11. The customer can, at any point in time, pay off the remaining amount of the handset.

1. How can I avail my Handset Insurance?

Handset Insurance is auto availed on purchasing handset on installment

2. What are the limitation against various coverages?

• Exclusions include:

i. Any pre-damaged screen

ii. Already lost or stolen phones

iii. Purposely broken phones

3. What is included in my coverage?

• Claim settlement of market value of the phone screen repair (within the coverage limit)

• Coverage:

i. Theft & burglary

ii. Screen damage

iii. New and old phones

4. Can I get coverage or additional coverage for any other phone?

• No

5. What is the waiting period on no claim period?

• No waiting period

6. Claim validity?

• The claim validity depends upon the duration of handset financing period

7. How can I claim under the mobile protection plan?

• Enrolment, claim submission and claim payment will be through paperless and digital processes managed by WEBDOC.

• Lodged through phone call or WhatsApp.

• Settled directly with the claimants within 3 working days of document submission.

• End-to-end support and handholding to claimant

8. What documents are required?

In case of Theft:

• Picture of IMEI Number of the phone or pre-registration before the event of claim

• Police Report - In case of theft/ robbery/ burglary

• Mobile Number

• CNIC Both Sides

• Phone purchase invoice

In case of Damage:

• Any Original Proper Bills to be claimed in case of damaged phone

• Damaged phone Only

9. Who will the claim be paid to?

• Claim amount will be transfer in the customer`s bank or Wallet Account

• If there is a dispute, suspected fraudulent activity on the claim or a unique situation which requires further clarification, the payment period can be extended but shall not exceed ten (10) working days, or as long as the dispute takes to resolve in the legal system.

10. Can I raise a claim in case of wear and tear or water damage?

• No for wear and tear, Yes for water damage.

11. Will I get a replacement phone?

• No

12. What if the replacement cost is more?

• You will only be eligible for the maximum amount in coverage of your phone

13. Can I claim if I do not block my IMEI or my phones not registered?

• NO

14. What is the estimated time to settle the claim?

• 36 hours

15. Can I enroll in multiple subscriptions?

• Insurance plan auto enrolled with the installment plan against the MSISDN

16. When will it not be paid?

• If there is a dispute, suspected fraudulent activity on the claim or a unique situation which requires further clarification, the payment period can be extended but shall not exceed ten (10) working days, or as long as the dispute takes to resolve in the legal system.

• Any Pre-damaged Screen

• The insurance of an Insured shall automatically terminate at the earliest time below:
